About Me

I create textured oil paintings inspired by digital art, nature, and pointillism. Each piece begins with a photograph I’ve taken, which I then manipulate using Lightroom and Photoshop. The image is processed through a web application I built to aid in color selection and placement. Each paint “pixel” is applied to the wood panel with a quarter-inch flathead screwdriver, adding a unique texture that represents the symbiotic relationship between the digital and organic worlds. My work offers a hopeful vision for a future where technological advancements coexist harmoniously with nature, rather than destroy it.

The time I spend with my paintings is sacred. It serves as therapy, a form of meditation, and an opportunity to reflect on my past and future actions. Each painting is a journey through which I gain deeper understanding of the importance of patience and grace, both with others and with myself. As individuals, we all possess qualities that make us deserving of love. Our skin may differ in hue, and our inner flames may burn at different intensities, but each of us has intrinsic value. When we come together, we create something truly beautiful.
